Maggie La Tourelle is a therapist, teacher, writer and speaker in the field of wellbeing and holistic healthcare. She is a counsellor, psychotherapist, NLP master practitioner, kinesiologist and energy therapist, and has been integrating these disciplines for thirty years. She brings to her work a natural creativity and passion, and underpinning everything is a conscious awareness.
She maintains a holistic therapy practice in London, has lectured at some of the UK’s leading universities and has been running professional training courses in holistic healthcare for many years.
People say Maggie is the radical voice in Alzheimer’s challenging convetional wisdom. Her new book, The Gift of Alzheimer’s, provides an informative and moving account of her journey with her mother who had Alzheimer’s, and includes a comprehensive guide for those helping to care for people with the disease. Another of her books, Principles of Kinesiology, continues to be a worldwide classic (revised edition, JKP, February 2013).
Maggie brings to her work a depth and breadth of experience from her life in the diverse fields of community work, education and business and, having originally trained as an art teacher, continues to enjoy doing design work.
